ArchINFORM (Biography)
Roberto Meyer
 
Roberto Meyer is co-director and founding partner of Meyer en Van Schooten Architects (MVSA) in Amsterdam, which he established in 1984 with Jeroen van Schooten. Both graduated in 1990 at the Academy of Architecture, Arnhem. In 1990 Roberto Meyer won the silver medal of the Prix de Rome. Additional functions of Roberto included being member of the commission of welfare and monuments in Amsterdam, teaching Architecture at the Academy of Architecture in both Arnhem and Amsterdam. He has held guest lectures at Universities of Technology in Delft, Eindhoven. He has given various lectures at universities and architectural associations in Cambridge, Melbourne, Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay. He has been a jury member for the Rietveld Prize and the Gouden Pyramide. Roberto Meyer is currently board member of the Dutch Council on High Rise Buildings.
